Cute little place that has outstanding service. The 'pick your own toppings' approach to the entree salad was innovative, and they overdelivered on the implementation...truly an excellent salad. Ribeye was cooked medium rare as ordered, but had WAY too much salt. Same for another ribeye in our party. Shrimp was a bit overcooked, but my wife's filet was just as she likes it.
So glad we went! My steak was excellent and I loved the salad! Definitely worth calling for a reservation. Thank you!
My man and I wanted to try somewhere new for our anniversary dinner, so we decided on Lake Park Steakhouse. We made a reservation well in advance because we'd heard it's a small place. It definitely is! You have to first find parking in Carolina Beach which is never fun, and then walk over. We were greeted promptly when we arrived and immediately seated. We loved the salad situation- you get to build your own salad and choose all of your own ingredients, which was fun and delicious! For our entrees, we had the 16 oz ribeye, the 14 ox Rib and scallops, and the mac n cheese. Everything was very tasty! However, for the same price ($120 not including tip), there are other steakhouses that we've enjoyed more.
Went here for dinner last night for our 34th Anniversary. The service, thank you Lindsay, was immpecible. The food, top notch. I loved the salad thing where you pick the ingredients, how clever!!! Lastly for the best part, I was fortunate enough to meet Noel and chat with her after dinner. Such a treat. Looking forward to many happy times. Love where you live!!!
I do give my share of five star reviews. When I do I am saying this was pretty great and you should try it. This, though, was a 5.5 of if ever there was one! We started with the fried onions which I am not a fan of. Not Lake Parks mind you. Just in general but my wife loved them. The salad was wild! So think salad bar that you don't get to visit. You fill a checklist with everything you want. The cool thing is you get someone else to make it for you and they portion it correctly. Awesome concept! The blue cheese on my steak seemed ridiculous at first as it was piled wildly high. Just shoveled a little to the side and dug in. Crisp edges, perfect pink center, and the blue cheese was fantastic! All round a perfect steak (I like toppings; don't come at me!). Rockstar Potato Prep!!! I'll wait while you take a moment to look at my photo of the potato. My wife said it looked like one of those marketing photo potato's and I can't disagree. It was a touch undercooked but everything else about it was high art!! I don't like to comment on decor because who really cares, right? That said this place had almost a brauhaus feel. Wood paneling and soft lighting. I loved everything about this experience! You have to come here if you are in the area!
